I’ve never owned a personalized license plate for a vehicle, which is a good thing because I’m simply not clever enough. But I do enjoy those cute and entertaining tags rolling through town.

My all-time favorite happened several years ago when I was delivering flowers. I found the house and made a U-turn to park behind a car parked on the curb, noticing the license plate that read “NVRMOR.” I glanced at my delivery order and the recipient’s first name was Raven. If you didn’t catch that, brush up on Edgar Allan Poe’s most famous poem.
